I'm currently restoring a 94 Softdash LSE. I have taken off the scuttle panel and bonnet to see what work is needed on the bulkhead. Some patches are needed at each end which shouldn't be too difficult, however patches are needed in the center part (behind where the air vents go). This looks like it is going to be very difficult to repair. Has anyone repaired this area before or are there any repair panels available (I can't find any). I have heard that Discovery's of the same period had the same bulkheads. If so, would it be possible to make repair panels from a good Discovery bulkhead?

Thanks

Sounds you have some metal to start the job nd have an idea how it should look.

You could do what the Dutch feller in "my motor" is doing or you could find the closest bulkhead and make do n mend.
Never seen weld in patches for this.
