Thinking about starting brake lines, there was none on chassis to compare but there is some intact on the rotten chassis that I can copy, took front part off in pic, there is a 4 way connector with 2 running to each wheel and 1 that goes up in to bulkhead, 1 going to rear which I will do next. I dont have any servos or master cylinders yet so need to get them at some point, so not sure just to copy these I have or to put dual lines in, never even heard of dual ones till recently, my front wheels have 2 cylinders and rears just 1
Trying to think of cheapest and easiest. ?

I would just go the simplest route. You can buy all the pipes ready made.
And even in the event of total failure of the hydraulic system, you have a manual handbrake to fall back on.

The V8 and Six pot versions have dual circuit brakes with a PWDA. I am not sure of the standard 109 but the v8 and six pot also have 11" fronts with dual cylinders.
Have a look at my thread and you can see one version of the brake like routes based on an original, mostly. If you put in your 4 way where the PWDA is you won't be far away, otherwise three way in this position and split with another 3 way at the front where I have.
Use Kunifer for longest life, it not that expensive (about £14 for enough to do a full vehicle) and it can be worked with ordinary rake tools as copper.

Thanks think this is the way mine are but dont have a clue what they lead to in bulkhead,

Yours is a single cylinder and mines a dual but something like this sort of thing, you can see the pipes leaving the master and heading right down to the chassis

.

Think this is the setup I need, anyone got any pics of this in bulkhead ?

Thats a single system, which is a bit weird since it says pre 1980 6 pot. My 1978 six pot is fitted with a dual system............

Mine is 109 2.25 petrol. really just want to go with the single as think it is the easiest and cheapest.
So which is Single from here ?

So,
Do you know what the advantage would be, by going to dual?
It is of course depending on your usage and feelings, but dual is safer. Hence why it was brought in.

I know Mate just want the easiest and cheapest, once finished wont be doing that many miles in it, think if all pipes and cylinders, shoes ect it will be safe enough

Almost everything on Series was an optional extra. You could have lots of things, so long as you paid extra when you ordered.
6 cylinders tended to be bought by well off people, or organisations who could afford the bling, if that is the right word for Series "extras", which were often things like heaters and seats! :D

Single assisted is what my ex-mil 109 came with. Servo fitted, then single line down the bulkhead where it splits to each of the front brakes and single line to rear. Rear line then splits at axle to the two rear brakes - all as per your diagram in #4
Maybe not good enough for Brands Hatch, but plenty fine for a series 3
:)

Thats what I want Mate, just to keep it simple and safe ish.
Ordered some pipe and flaring thingy so will copy these pipes and take it from there. Im missing couple of brackets ect so will be asking more questions.
