Hello,
Over this last week I've noticed my 2.5 N/A starting to rev up a little higher on its own (ie. running on own oil), so I've had a good look at it today. The things blasting oil out of the dip stick tube and hissing if I leave my finger over it.
It's also blowing out of the oil filler cap really heavily. It's worse than it was before I stripped it down, de-glazed it and fitted new piston rings a few months ago.
What's wrong with it? Surely my new parts haven't worn away already? Is there something else that could be potentially causing the problem (ie. blocked oil pump)?
If it looks like my engine is worn again, I wont think twice about selling it, but I am reluctant to think that new pistons, with new rings, each in deglazed cylinders can have wrecked themselves after three months
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
