They're notoriously difficult, you must've dropped lucky or be a bleed god :D

How do you find the new combo? I have a rakeway solid flywheel and heavy clutch cover and it's v hard on the right leg.

Currently its a Valeo clutch and LUK DMF with LR slave and fresh DOT4

Its certainly nicer to drive, clutch wise, tha the 110. Though it gets a little heavy in traffic. Thats why im thinking Powerslave, make it that little bit lighter.

Eventually when this clutch goes be back to LOFs VNT extreme + solid DMF which was brilliant in the 110.

On another note. Im want to loose the Cooper Pros, just too aggressive for what I do now and get an aggressive AT but I want 33s, specifically 285/75/16.

That means wide arches and cutting the inner arches. Not sure if I should keep the arches matt black, FXLiner them to match the bumpers/sliders. Or body colour? Quite tempted for body colour

Lovely head unit! Fits perfectly in the D2 dash and a lovely big screen to boot!

Go body colour for the arches

Billing was a laugh even with the breakdown

Did do some shopping though!

LOF powerslave, Pioneer clutch line, Fourby timing cover. For delivery DMO rear bumper, follows similar lines to the stock one but sleeker. Coming in primer so I can cut a corner out for a side exit, similar to the 110. Less Gypsy than most D2s :p

Got some 60mm fat rocksliders too not a fan of how skinny mine are. So if anyone wants the current ones they will be for sale.

Just got to fix that diff....

Discos fixed!

Been a long time since I deadlifted a Diff off the floor! But its in.

Looks like something is missing?

Also fitted the Fourby timing case cover, cheap, simple easy and brilliant upgrade.

Fitted the Pioneer 4x4 braided clutch line and LOFspowerslave. Clutch is feather weight now and was super easy to bleed! No issues at all, standard bleeding procedure took all of 10 mins. Good pedal changes well. Very happy

New tyres on the way! Decided to try out some Radar Renegade RT+ 285/75/16. Had a look at them at Billing, they look good with a similar tread pattern to Cooper ST Maxxs which I still rate as the best all round tyre for a proper 4x4.

Hopefully they work well. Cooper Pros just arnt for a daily! If anyone wants them they are for sale.

Will fit the wide arches and trim the inner arches ready for the bigger tyres.

Already has +2 brake lines and extended ABS lines and +2 springs and shocks but standard watts linkage. Looks like it has a Bailey Morris front double carden prop but unsure if its HD etc... same for the rear.

Would I need anything else doing?

Little bit of wiring today. Forgot to take pics so I will tomorrow

Wired up my small LED spots to the fogs, which are surprisingly bright for their size! Just have to modify the bracket to fit the bumper.

Also bought an Osram VX 500SP light bar as I need it to draw up the A Bar, however in the mean time it will tuck in below the grill!

Really liked how it sits so bought another to sit above the grill :p:D just because I have 2 plugs already wired in :D

As promised! Pics

Extremely bright even in the sunshine!

Also wasnt happy with how the TP4x4 bumper fits, I wouldn't suggest buying one unless you want to do alot of welding to make it right.

After a recovery last week, the snatch yanked the bumper down out of where I fit it. Mostly because theyve used slotted holes so you can align it how you want. Not great having to realign it after every off road day

Lucky got. Whole steel fab workshop and a laser cutter. So few mins later cut some 10mm plates to sit above and below the main chassis mounts.

Also welded some washers in for good measure. Sits where I want it now and shouldnt move. Also makes it a one person fit and remove.
