I guess it's not surprising that the threads on these get pulled out seeing how much the manifolds like to banana, I think I've got 2 timeserted ones on mine (at the far ends).

Yeah exactly. Would bave preferred timeserts but didnt have any!

Surprised given its a CJM manifold.

So far so good no leaks!
 
Everythings been pretty good for a while!

Except when I fitted new wiper blades, turned them on and got stuck...

Now the wipers are rather weak, so that only means one thing...

Wiper overhaul 😥 one job i rather dread....

In the mean time, RainX. LOTS of RainX 🤣
 
Well when it rains it pours...

Had a VERY concerning moment earlier! Started the 110, left it running for a min came back to quite a lot of smoke coming out the bonnet!

Turned off, checked, no fire... it appears the cam cap is leaking into the alternator which is cooking the oil and causing the smoke.

Rather alarming! Cleaned all the oil off and will fix the leak asap!!
