Bought an allisport one didn’t you. Couldnt avoid it could you….

Don’t know if you did that weird in-line stat but they’re quite brittle too and worth changing

Yeah changed that fairly recently!

Haha eventually not just yet though, still recovering from the house and subaru purchase 🙈🙈

By the way, Allisport is a solid choice — I’ve been running their stuff for a while and it really holds up under pressure. But I’d also suggest giving all your coolant hoses a once-over, especially if they’ve been on there for a few years. I had a set of older silicone hoses that looked fine on the outside but ended up softening and failing during a hot spell. Turns out they were breaking down from the inside. Better to swap them out now than deal with an overheated engine on the side of the road later on!
By the way, if you're interested in relaxing after a hard day behind the wheel or after a repair, then you should check out this site https://billybets-at.com/ I found this site by accident, but now I use it a lot. There are a lot of games and entertainment here. There are also nice prizes and bonuses. I wish you good luck in your victories.

Appreciate the input but I assume youre fairly new to the forum and my threads 😅

Ive had a my fair share of Allisport some is ok some is very good. Personally been through 4 intercoolers, 1 header tank and 2 top hoses and a currently a manifold warping (that ill sort myself). All replaced under warranty but still...

Currently looking at a few options for the header tank but Allisport isnt my first choice, that said I did have one on old 110 which was great.

Some say they dont manufacture as much in house as they say they do.

Welding has gone crap with most of the suppliers. Thickness of metal has gone thinner.
Most plastics are the same. Nothing built to cope with a few years of abuse

100% that. I was pleasantly suprised when my D44 bumper came and it was exactly as it was when I boughy my old one. Excellent quality

Passed! No advisories 😃😃

She looks mean mate 😎

Did you just drill into the D44 bumper for your spotlight mounts? I’ve got some safaris than I want to install. Ideally wanted to put on the foam A bar but don’t want to drill into that.

My A Bar? Pretty sure there are some pics of the install on here.

But year, drilled in nut and bolted!

Though I have made my A Bar wider by 60mm I think so it actually fits the D44 bumper as the winch tray is wider than the chassis mounts.

I really like the heads up display and would recommend it. The ClearSight mirror is something else to consider. The view out the back isn't great without it.

Had one before, they are quite good. Just not overly bothered about seeing out the back. Cant see much anyway

Exciting Easter Friday! Finally got round to sorting the slightly warped exhuast manifold, shockpy yes even the CJM Manifolds will warp given enough time.

This one was on my old D2 now on my 110, probably covered closed to 60k at least and I dont exactly have a light foot 🤣

EGTs where all in check topping out at 560°C on full chat so that did not play a part in this.

Machined flat and was out by 30 thou so aroun 0.76mm enough to cause a small leak.

All skimmed flat now though and ready to refit! Should be good for at least another 60k!

Also set about greasing all the various nips as I havnt done it in a while. Then found two TRE with some play, so that explains the slight vibration when driving!

Also found all FOUR nuts round the rear prop to TX box where loose, slight concern....

Not just that but both rear shocks where slightly loose. Could be from wear on the bushes, or worked loose. Either way done up FT now.

Also found the front bearing on the TX box has some play 🙄 which is annoying but glad I found it now as its booked in at the end of the month to have the seals done between the TX and GB. So thats added to the list.

Lord I miss my Syncroworks Ultrabuild box 😭😭😭

I warped mine too. I bought it via allisport and they swapped it out no questions asked!

As did I this time round but it was a few years ago when I first bought the D2

Nice of them to do, probably because its costs them roughly £250 a unit 🫣

Mines a few years old now, easier to drop it down the workshop and have it done same day than bugger about with their warranty!

What a magical day I had today 🙄

Thought it would be a fairly quick reassemble of the manifold, oh how wrong I was!

Refitted and torqued up 9 out of 10. Number 10 become righty loosey 😢😢

Stud almost fell out.

Panicking about what to do as I need the 110 this week, suddenly remembered I had a Helicoil kit at work! Very lucky on a bank holiday Monday.

Refit everything, started torquing and cyl 4 top stud decided to play the same game 😥😥

Manifold back off, again, removed the stud with my fingers.

Another helicoil....

3 hours later... all done. All torqued up to spec.

Hopefully it doesnt leak now!

Contemplating drilling them out to M10 now but that carries its own risks...
