You sir are a inspiration....just ready your entire thread....weird how a dead RRC can turn into a beast like this.

Started getting a few bits back on, OS frames and glass, arches, CB antennae, etc.

Thanks to this thread (Brilliant by the way) ;) I too have gone the route of the trooper bonnet vent to aid cooling when I had a knackered radiator - got mine here...

Looking good mate. You look like you've put in the same position front to back. I spent ages faffing until I settled on that position. :D

looking gooood

Auf Wiedersehen Pet, you'll need to get a Decepticon decal and you can become mortal enemies! :D

Enemies? A Disco driver needs all the allies he can get, especially when it breaks down. :D:D:D:D

The bonnet scoop must stay !!!!! It looks very cool.

Good isn't it. £20, six mounting holes (plus whatever airflow holes you decide upon) and some paint. Result! :):):):)

Dave

Looks good! What you using to stick the plastic trim on the doors? Cant wait to see it all back together.

Thanks. I guess trim tape for the rubbing strips and I may silicone around the edges of the chequer plate to stop water and **** getting in before I use black poppers in the original holes to remount it.

Cheers Rob. I think it just finds that position when you plonk it on the bonnet and suits it really well. How much did you cut in your bonnet as couldn't see much of a hole? I cut out most of the vent size in my bonnet from about 2 inches from the front lip from side to side to the back of the vent
