Take the silencer off the valve block, open a door and wait for the the pump to blow off when it's finished charging the tank. Upto ten minutes.
If it takes too long the pump will overheat and you can get valve stuck faults as the car doesn't lift and the target heights aren't hit. Using a more specific software or diagnostic will get exact results instead of possible
mis-coms.:)

What's the best budget friendly option for diags , only want it to do the EAS have seen those leads / software on fleabay are they any good (I do have a laptop that's got a serial port ), or is there better options ??
The free RSW EAS software is the best, you just have to buy a cable which I might be able to supply, I will check stock this afternoon. If you buy a cable you also get a CD with the EAS software, my airbag replacement guide and a copy of RAVE. I'll PM you with details later.
