TBH, I just want some guidance.ask gav,he can tell you how/where to download one.
After spending 16 years fixing cars for a living (including @ LR), i'm not that bothered anymore, if it runs, I leave it well alone.
Fixing cars is for kids.

it just means i am confused thats all,you have asked for help,i have replied as to where you can get help/advice and you reply with a negative remark.
You confirmed what I suspected, a bad earth and for that I thank you.
The alarm guy provided a possible location so a bigger thanks to him.
You then suggested I download/buy a full workshop manual. I was just saying I'd rather pay the garage. Sometimes you just have to give the greasemonkeys a shove in the right direction ;-)
Nothing I have said on my very brief time on here has been meant to have been negative, sorry. Maybe its just me??
