Have been reading this and
@tyke100 i feel your pain. But that said please do not change to coils.
I went through this many years ago(Probably 10+) and it took me a while to sort it (without the help you are getting here).
Here is my view on it. I have not had to touch my EAS for along time so am not going to get all technical.
i disconnected the airlines from the compressor box and put the stop valves back on the pipes.
put 46 psi in every single bag to lift the car about 3 cm of the bump stops.
Do you only have the valves?
I have this fitted to the old P38, which was the 1 giving the problems all those years ago. But the kit I had used “T” pieces so it just breaks into each line, this way you can leave everything plugged in. Take out the delay relay and it will just stay up
But when you want to play just plug it in. Yes it’s a PITA but it will get you through for a while. Used to also carry a small compressor so could adjust if I loaded the boot
Oh and I seem to remember 60ish psi being about normal height (think it’s been mentioned already)
I had a friend coming around with this landrover diagnostic tool yesterday.
It cant even find the car
What diagnostics did he have?
You seem to have a few problems that I see.
1. You are rushing because you have a deadline, never good.
2. Your lead driver, took me a while to work it out but got there.
3. Maybe if your mate couldn’t connect, you still may have a problem with you OBD socket, or wire too.
4. You hate computers
So from that take a breath... You have a car that will run on the manual valves. Which gives you breathing space to get this sorted. I did it for probably 6mths, before getting all the stuff together and then it was easy
.(I used to work away 1mth at a time)
So take another breath don’t touch the EAS tomorrow, give it a wash and take it for a drive enjoy the ride
I am not going to tell you what you need or what to do the wise “old” members are talking you through this already, and I have long forgotten
.
Follow what they are saying (but don’t rush).
Oh get your OH to teach you how to take a pic on your phone and upload it, pics can say a hell of a lot more than can be described in words when you are unsure what you are doing
.
