So a little up date for those interested.

Fitted the bush wires today. (Quick release for road)

I think I've got them the best I can get them without a roof rack but week see. I haven't cut any length off yet just incase.

Ratchet straps are quite a good alternative. Just remember not to swing on the "ratchet" part like I no I do automatically lol!

And has anyone got a grill for the snorkle? I want to replace it for another plastic one as I'm not a fan atall of shiney/chrome. Got ££ waiting :)

That's fair enough.

I'll have a little butchers about looking for the 1 of 3 I no I have lying around the workshop and get back to you ;) oh and your discos really looking smart! Any close ups of the paint. Like really close. Close enough to see the finish?

PM Me in case I miss this thread again.

You do know I copped out and sent it to a paint shop don't you. My wife paid £1200 for the respray for me. She's one in a million!!!!

I'll see if I can post more photos at the weekend. My chequer plate has been freshly powder coated in gloss black and is ready to go back on - a suitable time to update the thread.

Robbbbbbb!

Could you not have pushed OCD aside and spent that on millionz of modz instead?!?! :jaw:
What else do I need to do/buy? I know I interact with 100's of teenagers every day but there ain't a day goes by without dozens of "Your car is sick, Sir" style comments!

Yeah ok lol and tbh in other fraternities £1200 on paint is very minimal, just on Landyzone it's against the grain

However don't EVER say 'what else do I need to buy' as that is clearly all lies :p

Auf not to worry mate I found a few snorkels lying around upstairs. Had a rummage and found one with an in tact grill. It's amazing what you forget you have when you can't see it. Lots of goodies up there. Spare light bars tyres snorkels rock sliders diff guards. Loads!

And as for sending it off to be painted I must have missed that I thought it was all you. :( nvm still looks the dogs...

No worries. I did start the paint myself, bonnet painting indoors was fine using the roller technique but the roof outdoors looked feckin' sh7t!! My heart sank and SWMBO could see it in my eyes. :(:(

I went to Lanzarote for two weeks whilst the garage painted it. Result. :p:p
