Morning all.
I've got a 2001 P38 which was bought with quite a few problems that i'm slowly working through. The next one on my list is the Alarm/remote central locking.
I have a Nonocom and when I plug it in and go into the BeCM all the immobiliser, Alarm and EKA looks to be turned off. When I first got the Range Rover the doors would lock and unlock themselves so I found that the driver side lock actuator was duff so I've replaced it and the problem was solved. While in the door I noticed that the arm at the back of the lock had been drilled and a screw inserted which was worrying because if it broke while the door was locked and no central locking I would be stuck so I bought a second hand lock and i'm now using two keys for the car until I can get a new handle from the main stealers. Now to the question.
If I turn the alarm/ immobiliser back on with the Nanocom and the remote locking doesn't work, can I lock myself out? I do have the original EKA code.
TIA
