reckon mine will do 120mph when done
at first i thought the op meant lorry type air brakes wich would be a pretty cool idea
wouldnt arf sound cool that hiss when a fookin bigass 110 pulls up :scratching_chin:
An airbrake on something with the aerodynamics of a garden shed?! LMAO
Suggest it to Land Rover, they might add it to the gaylander.
Fitting a lorry air break system would make the Land Rover stop so fast the doors and trim will still carry on at normal speed
Actually i reckon it would just skid ! I have skidded mine with the standard brakes in it!
Must've been a mess in your pants! In a normal car it's scary enough!Depends how the feedback through brake valve is set up-my lorry is air over hydraulic and good feedback-man lorry I drove was frightening as slightest press it locked right up at speed

i was actually thinking an airbrake system off a lorry as a secondary system for when towing heavy loads at speed
sort of thing that can be turned off or dissabled when not needed
or is that just me mad professor alter ego going too far as usual
Are you saying the trailer should be braked? think that's been thought of before.
no ive see an aditional air brake system someone put on his old volvo (the guy was bout 83yrs old) and spent his life creating this system and i had the pleasure of seeing this system or rather its prototype in action
he had a car trailer on the back with over 6 tonne of scrap iron on the thing the car struggled to pull it but at 50 mph tests with and without the system the stopping capabilities had a massive distance on them
the air brakes were hooked up to the trailer from a main unit in the car soon as he hit that valve he never used the car brakes and the entire thing stopped in half the original distance and straight as an arrow aswell
only thing is you could fry an egg on those trailer wheels after hed done it
Just a bit too powerful, shame something like that never made it into production
