I didnt say the AF were good - in fact I think their service is appaling. as several events have proved.
My welcome back is to Jordon who, I believe, tries to get the best (compared with others) out of a crap company.

If the service is poor - vote with your feet :)

I never thought you said they were good,i know what you think of them, tis well documented on here.i was just commenting about my dealings with them.Jordan has been great with myself over getting me a good deal, but the service from others in flux leaves a lot to be desired.

I never thought that you never said I never thought that you never said...... :5bwilly_nilly:

30 minutes to get a quote!?! asking questions like does your 110 station wagon have racking? or a double cab..... Specialist 4x4 should know this.

And as I need business use you want commercial insurance.

Going slowly insane!

and then ends up being as much as Admiral .....

But then off I go to another company.... and its 7500 per year... so a new second hand landy every year then?

Use a compare site and leave off racking and roof rack-as compare sites will not quote, then call to confirm price and mention racking and roof rack.

My personal experiences of Adrian Flux are they tend to want high premiums and are not competitive for low risk drivers or motorcyclists.

Just got my renewal from flux, it contained accidents and convictions and this is the first time that I have the info about a bump that happened on 09/2013 I was reversing back into a parking space at the side of the road and bumped into a car pulling out of a space ( my fault thought he had moved into traffic ) I was doing all of 2mph and hit his nearside door breaking the handle and denting the door, offered to pay for repair as was so minimal but he decided to go down the insurance route, the claim landed up being £4,941.38 ? How the hell did it get to that figure ? Seems like a rip off claim to me, no wonder we pay so much for insurance if they let people get away with such claims, going to have a search around for different insurance quotes but this claim is going to hinder my chances of competitive quotes ( was the first claim against me in 30 odd years ) and I drive about 50k a year with work and pleasure.

Did you take photographs of the damage? May indeed be an insurance scam.

A similar thing happened with my wife, she let a van out of a petrol station, she saw him move forward and she did as well, but he stopped abruptly, the damage to her car,was a cracked number plate, the damage to the van was nil,but the van driver and his girlfriend claimed for whiplash etc etc,the bill came to £4,500.:mad:
