Hello ,
life was great this morning until I mistakenly opened the sunroof instead of the drivers window.
And it did decide to rain just at that moment

The sunroof has stuck open and will not close using the switch ,I can hear the motor work on opening but not closing

So I have managed to close the sunroof manually by removing the interior light and using a large screwdriver to wind it shut .

I then decided to see if it would open again using the switch no luck I can hear the motor but no movement
So now it doesn’t open or close

Any help appreciated

Just for my own nosiness. How do you manage to mistake sunroof button for driver's window button? Or do you mean you opened the sunroof, rather than a window, by choice? Then realised you had made a mistake because the rain started and it's not sunroof open time yet?

Just mistakenly pressed the wrong switch
I don’t normally use the sunroof

All fixed thanks for the help the switch contacts were tarnished

but because I manually closed the sunroof I needed to turn the screwdriver back a quarter turn as per manual ( thanks Flossie )
It reality I turned the screwdriver back and forwards until the gears re engaged whilst pressing the sunroof switch ,may be of help to someone

Thanks Tony
