sorry but can resist this but after how many miles did you recheck your wheel nuts dr (on the landy) ???
And i don't know anybody that checks em after 100 miles or whatever. They've never lost a wheel either.
 I'm out, this is obviously a lost cause.
Load a bollocks, 95% of folk don't re-torque..
An you fookin know it ya tit..
It's irrelevant weather you do or don't, you should. When working at Honda garage we told customers to come back after 50 mile so we could check them

you kinda have to when the cars from the stone age
There's no need fer that......
Granite is a very adaptable material and hardly ever spontaneously shatters.......much
Is it really that hard to use a torque wrench?
Thank you im a dummy and didnt know lol. Im paranoid know cos have never checked my wheel nuts either so shall get the hubby to check em as a matter of urgency!!!Yes
First cause most of the population (including me) wont be sure what one is
Second, if they do, they probably don't have one (I might have when I find out exactly what it looks like)
If this is necessary then garages and tyre places should tell people and either show them how to check or arrange for the vehicle to come back for checking.
Edited for the other dummies on here It looks like the ratchet thing in your socket set but according to google you can change how tight it tightens stuff with some sort of switch. Will be checking all the ones in my tool box at the weekend to see if I have one
At least no one was hurt Pete, could have been worse mate.
