hiya all, just wandering how many miles other peeps are roughly getting out of there Td4's if they was to roughly put 50 quid in the tank????:pop2:

i average about 450 week in week out if i was to brim mine then empty it, i work it out to be around 33 mpg, it was 37 until shell brought out fuel save...

30mpg daily drive to/from work. Some hills, some 40 limit steady speed, some stop start town centre stuff. 11 miles door to door, generally takes 25-30 mins, so quite good I reckon.
regards, Bill

£50 equates to filling up from 1/4 full on mine, get between 280 and 340 from that depending on where I'm working and what the journey is like.

goes right down if there's any green lanes on my route !

I wait until the light comes on then brim it. Get about £64 in it including filling half of the filler pipe. Out of that I get between 400-450 miles. Mixture of around town and motorway driving. 52 plate TD4 Auto with 55k on the clock & double dose of millers in every tank.

My wife's TD4 is currently running at 36.1MPG and that doesn't include any motorway or dual-carriageway work, just commuting around the lanes between us and the town. This isn't using a light right foot either, it needs working to hussle around the lanes. Should hopefully get a bit better on the next fill-up as I serviced it last weekend and it was REALLY in need of new filters etc.

I get about 35MPG out of me L series. One of my Lattitudes had a puncture and has gone in for repair. As I didn't want three nearly new Lattitudes and one nearly worn out Synchrone on the car for a week, I've fitted my Goodyear MT off road tyres.

Its not doing so good on fuel now, wonder why? :D
