Hello, Now I know This has been covered many times before but I seek current info..

I have a stripped and cleaned 4.6 block which I want top hat lined, crank refitted with new bearings and the pistons fitted with new rings and that's it. Quotes I'm getting are around the 2k mark.
Are there any good deals out there at the mo on short block top hat lined exchanges or is this as good deal as I'm likely to get ?
I'm in the southwest but can travel.

Have had all of mine done by Powers Performance in Coventry. They do mainly TVR stuff but happy with any V8 (just make sure they don't try to bore it out for 5 litres). Ask for Dom. Very happy with the work they did and both times it was well less than a grand.
