cool, thanks mate, now what about cleaning any swarf out the the oilways left from re-bore and cleaning etc?

yeah, rebored and new cam bearings, he didnt do the decks in the end- said they were close enough (me being anal) and a bit worried about soing the ally with steel liners causing more probs than solved.

re cleaning I have compressor so no probs, but where to put it all in and blow it all out from? I dont really know the routing of the oil ways :)

should I leave those plugs in then? (I would rather as its a lot of work already this engine lol)

PS, spoke to aussie bloke with these engines and he said his plugs were in that far too :)

As james said.. degrees and lots of air, I removed the plugs for the followers and put a long tube down the and blew lots of air as I dragged it out as there is many holes! Pipe cleaners help to get right in the holes.
Here's a map of the oil galleries

fitting new plugs is easy enough once you scrape the burrs off,but getting old ones out might be tricky with them been so small

so can I clean it good enough with them in to get the galleries clean after the re-bore?
