I suspect I'll get an answer to this quite quickly.
My 300TDI conversion uses an injector pump with what looks like a motor housing next to the diaphram on the top of it. There is a plug with 3 wires, brown, green, black. The block is stamped 18L which means its an EDC engine yet the pump has a normal throttle cable. Is it an ERR4419 which doesnt have any wires according to the pictures I've seen or ERR4046 which apparently doesn't have a throttle cable as its fly by wire. If it is the latter which I suspect can I fine tune it as I've read on here and does it matter that its not plugged in to anything?
Can I remove the leccy bits completely? I wonder because the engine suffers diesel knock and I wondered if this is the problem.
