fins surround the pipe cores they should hot all over rad if coolant is flowing freely through the entire rad, without only part of the rad is cooling which wont be enough under certain conditions
Cheers James. I only flushed it and replaced the coolant a few months ago. Sod's law it now needs a new rad isnt it.
Is there anything i should check/rule out just before i replace the rad? Ive checked the water pump pulley bearings and rotation.. That seems fine and good. Heater is red hot. Pipes dont seem overly pressurised compared to another 300tdi. Anything else?
