Not going off the engine number, as I don't know the engine numbers for the differant 2.25 Litre engine types, if you have an orange filler cap on the head, and no breather pipe coming up from the crank case which would be the filler, you probably have a 5-bearing engine.
One way to tell is also the colour of the paint on the block. 3-bearing engines use a dug-egg blue, which is a semi-greeny/bluey like colour. Where as the 5-bearing engines are painted red.
However, if it is an Ex-MOD engine, then it could be painted a green, if it has been rebuilt by the military.
