Oh bollix, the used tubular manifolds on eBay I see are usually not long enough as they are for cars, currently there is a used set for a RRC at £175 but they look really rusty and don't look like they will last very long. I have just done £!400 on my Lotus exhaust, I don't really feel like reporting in to the home office that the Landrover requires a fancy custom exhaust. Oh well, strangled drinking straw diameter exhaust it is.

so you running a carbed 100hp 3.5 with open headers then??or are you running something silly again?? i lose track

whatever the SD1 was HP wise then stick an edelbrock top end on it and add open headers which are being changed over to the EFI 3.9 manifolds now due to heat issues

Mine is a SDI with standard twin carbs, when new was supposed to be 150-170 bhp, even though its been fully rebuilt, its still a bit of a wheaze bag with the standard exhaust, even with just the centre box removed it does sound good though.

Did you fit those p38 headers?, I have question for you, do you know of any off the shelf Y sections and down pipes from the headers that are a bigger diameter than the standard ones? As they are the width of a drinking straw on my RRC.

p38 headers will not fit disco or rrc...wont fit past chassis or indeed bulkhead..cant comment on anything else except p38..which they fit..lol

have tried,dont fit.

if they did no one would be buying headman headers etc.

I Will be doing it soon when I do the 1 link, going to mod my foot well as there's where they foul like Zen said.

pain in the ass... i could do with the clearance otherwise I would go for headmans!

if you running megasquirt, why even have a dizzy??defeats the point if you ask me..totally waterproof is but a coil pack away!!

Its megajolt so only partial MS. But either way I'm just having the stubby dizy to drive the oil pump.

3.9 manifolds so they say

135 ish when new.......mines fully rebuilt with an edelbrock inlet and edelbrock 500 carb so be way more than 100

rolling road tune???wb afr meter???

if not just guessing...but whatever..still many more than the stock 4 pot!and pretty looking

what appened to the yanky lumps???

no idea, don't have any intention of wasting money to check the power on a vehicle which has more than enough of it

and no I don't have a meter on it, don't need it to know its running nicely

still got a 500 cube motor here

not meaning to dig, but how you know its running correctly??ie not lean etc..smell and sound just aint enough..

still its a 3.5..so no real issue with liners if abit out..

whats your plan with the yanky lump? i expeced it to be series by now?still mine is taking ages..but this megashift is rather kool....always fancied flappy padels.lol

plugs looked the right colour when I took one out after snapping it removing the old manifolds

the 500 will find its way into something fun when I can afford it, dropping a 215 into a mates navara and have some money coming in from that to help get some steel together for a chassis

got axles and box here plus carb etc
