you gonna stick with the low comp pistons mark? I know you must be torn as its an arse to take two steps back and spend more cash but wont you be peed off doing all that work and still having low hp?

Not sure... when I drove it, it seemed to go ok kept up with the gfs 1.1 saxo up to 80, I would have thought that it would be real slow with only 95 bhp

Remember though less BHP usually means more torque as well so acceleration would still be there up to a point in the low gears which would allow you to keep up a bit better

Just googled your engine code or the one you posted anyway

22D00001 - Landrover - Discovery

I think the efi does offer a good improvement over carb. Im going to hope its not 95 and actually 150 ish and live with it.

fair enough bud, RS didnt say yours was 95, just that that was the lowest rv8 power out put from lr as standard.

Not sure the saxo test is a good yard stick though :p

Odd.. well it seems that the 8.1:1 cr efi has decent power what ever the code is... only a dyno will tell for sure I gess

not bad for us but ****e for a 3.5 of any other brand lol

like a bmw m30 3.5 of the same era is about 188-220 depending on age lol- we still keep messin with landy bits though lol
