This proves my point that not many people have achieved much regarding power increases. You can clearly see from my pics which manifold it is and it has a conversion block on to accept a t2 upwards to a t3.The choice of turbo is up to you depends where you want your power and how lively you want it.
Use an external gate with the appropriate spring and use silicone hosing and an induction pipe that is positioned in a cool area and ducted to fresh cold air.Use the biggest intercooler you can fit and fit fans in front of it.Set your fuel and hey presto its that easy.If the power is in the wrong place for you change the blower accordingly hope this helps.:high5:

Do you find that the intercooler blocks the airflow through the rad?

Not at all at the moment I still run the standard fan and 2 electric ones in front of the cooler even without them on no change in running temps ever even at full chat for long periods:)

I'm surprised you could squeeze 2 fans in front of the IC or do you mean behind?

Is the new bonnet prop available in a different colour to match the pipes?

No in front the rad was moved back about 70mm I think did it ages ago and the front has been extended and reinforced so the fans fit in front and it is having a custom grill and oil cooler.Dont think I will paint the bonnet prop like it as it is:cool:

atouchtoomuch.

People on here had a bit of a pop at me over my Defender. I probably spent a bit too much on it, but in for a penny as they say! I've had a few problems with the steering, which I think are largely sorted, but there's no doubt that the V8 has to go and a 300tdi is the obvious choice.

As I've said, I don't mind chucking a bit of cash at it, and I'd like a bit more power, so would you be interested in supplying a kit of parts for my mechanic to fit? I'm talking about the whole lot, manifold, your design turbo and fuel pump, pipes and a suggestion for an intercooler.

BMW M57 , standard , 190HP 410 nm ,plus a moderate remap more for torque spread . TD5 rad and intercooler, Hybrid P38 r380 gearbox , with bearing mod. Thats the gist of it .

Quite a good motor but they do as Ive been told have issues and they use a vvt which I am not a fan of as they are very unreliable turbos when boosted as they choke up and disintergrate. Quite interested the gearbox has had a bearing mod though could be useful If I eventually break one.:)

Shouldn't you be busy breastfeeding your child?

im back at work, designing proper engineering stuff. Im thinking that if i put a picture of a nuclear reactor up on here, that it will actually produce a million more gigawatts of power, solving the world energy crisis.

But i cant as I cant work a compootor....

You could but it might upset atouchtoomuch who seems like a bit of a prissy cock

Thats nice

I want this please.

Also, atouchtoomuch, you are being pretty successful on having a go at some of the biggest contributors to this forum...I still can't believe what you said to JM
