Just pottering around town i get 21mpg (still got egr and cat), on a run i did to black pool 70mph 90% the way there, stop start nearly all the way back and aircon on i got 29mpg over all.
I am happy with that, better than my old 4.6

Fill it up so the pump clicks off , then drive a couple of hundred miles, go back to same pump and fill up until it clicks off . Note how many litres you put, then do your sums. Just for example. 40 ltr does 200 miles . Convert litres to gallons divide by 4.54 , = 8.8 gallons . Then divide miles by 8.8. 200 miles divided by 8.8 = 22.7 mpg. Does that make sense ?
