I think I would be tempted to pull the ABS ECU and take a gander at the boards to see if everything looks OK. It is a quick (and clean) job.

Also, are all the teeth on the reluctor rings good?

Also, I think the ECU stops talking to the Nanocom when you start to move but if not, try to record a trace and see if you can catch it in the act.

It does. That's why I did the checks crawling round. As for the ECU, I've even opened the top fixing hole into a claw so I can fit it and remove it without having to totaly pull the fixing out. I had an axle oil leak and suspected the reluctor ring(s) being contaminated. Pulled the drive shafts and double cleaned. The CV joints are new, also. I've got a spare ECU at home!! But I'll certainly do as you suggest today. I'm not in the business of ignoring well thought out advice. Thankyou.

Running out of ideas to be honest. More like delirious thoughts of a man in an idea desert.

Have you managed to get a trace where it faulted? You'd have to stop after it faulted so you knew where on the trace it happened to be sure, or use a stopwatch. If not, maybe a drive is in order? More pleasant than cleaning reluctor teeth!

Took fotos and footage of each step and passed them to a friend. Shot nanocom pages for comparison between us. I haven't recorded to my memory card as yet as I watched what was happening whilst I was being chauffeured around the med at 5mph. Each input voltage fluctuated to the same extent. My mission today is to clean every contact and connector known to man wherever. IllI also produce the spreadsheet you suggest. Just don't run out of ideas. Out with the ecu after this cuppa. Thanks again.

abs and tc lamps only on slow manouvres. e.g. Parking/reversing/back-forth.
Could it be a abs sensor cable being pulled or mover ,on turning the steering,or even a break in a connector plug pin,,,Is it after rain or any time...

In the first instance no external factors made difference. The lamps popped up under no specific condition, save, slow manoeuvring. And even then the only time, the first time, was pulling out of Asda car park in poole. Travelled Cherbourg to South of Spain with no reappearance. And then only after some weeks of arrival. Again, pulling in or out of carparks. It's only over recent weeks I've had them on permanently with the flashing up of "abs fault". I suspected some cheapo sensors on the tears from you know where despite reading ok so I replaced them with two from island. Logic told me it could only be the switch on the abs pump. Changed that no joy. Someone must've had a dose of this somewhere, sometime. Thanks. P.

Not being funny ,but its the front that steers n you said you changed the rear sensors with no change ,,,front cables get more movement...I am getting my coat.:)

Funny logic thinking it was the switch on the pump, no pump and you have virtually no brakes never mind TC/ABS lights.
As others have pointed out, breaks where the cables flex at the front is a likely cause.

Well, I mentioned that id changed all the sensors. What I omitted to say was I'd already got front sensors from island with spares. All logic's funny when you know Diddly. I thought there were three switches in the unit with one doing naught but saying lamps on or off. Thanks. Please keep trying for me, will you? I wonder why nanocom is saying no faults. Air gaps and cable breaks I thought would show a fault.

Multi meter readings on the sensor wires while moving them would reveal any faults with wiring..
Being permanent 4x4 it's hard to spin them upto a speed to detect voltage generated on the sensors as well, unless you somebody who can do it while you look at the readings.

I got my readings from a nanocom print out. Driving slower than it breaks communication.however, I'll carry out the basic test you suggest and thanks.

So it's front sensors fly leads, then. You've given me serious thought, input and consideration. That's all anyone can ask. I'll post the outcome when it's cracked. Best regards all. P.

That's good enough for me. Thanks for that encouraging post . As luck would have it, having been high and dry in the past I've brought all manner of spares with me. I've got an abs ECU. Guess where it is. Not here and no-one can find it in my heap. So I've had to order another, which I did last Thursday. Once you're out of the UK no matter what anyone says, with a p38- you're on your own. It's raining for the first time in anger since arriving in November. Happy days.

****ing it down in Mallorca too. Good of them to lay on some weather to stop you feeling homesick.
