Get that crow bar ready lynall to open your wallet :D , one week in and I'm still impressed definitely more go in her than before. I'm still not happy my turbos working right , think its more tired than knackered so I'm planning an overhaul new chra and new actuator. Eventually found an actuator in Spain nobody else had one, only place in England was from Lr over £200. Only negative is that sometimes there seems there's no power till turbo spools up then other times she's fine think that's more of a need to fine tune the set though. So do I start playing I'm thinking of putting the normal fuel pin in and trying that for a few days just to see what the difference is and I'm also thinking of turning the power adjustment screw on the rear of the pump up a bit, any thoughts about trying these and any one got any other ideas on things to try? Also any one in the trade or who knows about bosch pumps were the boost ring fits should there be 2 springs in there ? and does anyone have a part number and were I could get one from its the smaller of the 2 springs? So I'm glad I brought it definitely has more power and accelerates quicker will post again when I've done the tweaking if any one's interested.
cheers Ian

Bought both a boost pin and ring for my 90 and 110. Going to fit them to the 90 when it's back on the road so I can feel the difference. Fitted the boost pin to the 110 this weekend and it's made a huge difference. Lots more go with not much smoke except when under heavy load. I only trundle round in it but it feels like a different car now. I don't have give it as much to make it go or drop down a gear at the first sign of a hill it just feels much happier when driving. I'll be running it for a couple of weeks the I'll get the boost ring in.

Literally all I've done if fit the pin I haven't touched anything else.

Yes we are all interested after all getting some power out of the 200/300 is going to keep them useable for many more years yet.

OOOh opening that wallet was painful! ordered and paid for, never used them before and have to say its nice to see paypal option easily as most seem to hide it away in a corner somewhere.

Yes PayPal who ever invented it deserves a medal great way to pay and not have details everywhere. lynall when you fit the boost ring can you check how many springs are in the please as fourby' video should 2 and my pump only had one ? Fitted the standard pin in Sunday and checked the tappers and put new washers in 2 of the injectors but haven't been able to use her as the central locking was playing up 2 wires broke were it comes out of the door the broke the plastic bit that holds the lock peg so waiting for one of them to arrive so Wednesday I should be using her again, oh the joys of Landy ownership :D.
cheers Ian

As soon as it turns up I will get on it and let you know how many springs land on the floor!

Yes have just run mine for a week or so with the boost ring and standard pin in and no pump tweeks and it runs nice , I will change over to the boost pin tomorrow and see how she goes like for a week or so and see what I think runs best.

I've already got a boost pin in and that made a massive difference although really Smokey if I'm in too high a gear with wrong revs. I've ordered a boost ring now but I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say. How much difference did you notice?

in terms of discount, I wouldn't want to upset any of those on here who have already purchased.... but if you guys want to get together for a bulk purchase we can arrange something.... and if anyone is coming to the Peterborough show next weekend, come find me tell me that "The Mad Hat Man" sent you and we'll see what goes from there....
