Greys around us, lots of them, and loads of Pigeons, don't usually bother either of them only do the Magpies for the sake of the smaller birds. There are about ten or twelve Magpies around at the moment, will have a cull shortly, before the little ones start nesting.

Will have look round for local bosch shop, but if I have none local is the one you aimed me to Wammers correct? Bosch VE Turbodiesel Injection pump seal kit?

A certain place raided somewhere around here a couple of years ago found to have a freezer full of dogs and pussies apparently. It's the culture though so it's ok. :D:D:D

Thanks, Just spoke to a guy in the Bosch centre in Colchester.. Both seals (just incase) £5.30 delivered next day.. Guy called Reece, total star!

Have decided to throw Glow Plugs, Fuel Filter and Leak offs whilst doing it, so will drop manifold but have to wait for the bits to turn up.. Hopefully tomorow, so will attempt it Weds

Replacing the seals really isn't that hard of a job (just messy) and if you mark off everything with a few deep scratch marks in the housing before you remove anything you will be fine once this goes back together.

Level 1 nice and easy, no need to mark anything off for this level. But even if you have the correct Bosch tool, chances are you will round the head off and need to replace the bolt

Now Mark everything off before you loosen and remove level 2! (also undo eleccy bits)

Ends up back in the cup - practice this a few times before you put everything back together!

Now - as you forgot to mark everything off you need to know how to get your car started, well crack off your injector pipes and loosen all the bolts on the FIP push the middle plate back (towards bulkhead) and crank the engine. Once the engine begins to run move the plate around until you get a smooth tick over. Tighten everything down and take for a test drive :)

Have read that if you havent got the Bosch Tool theres a chance beating an old 6 sided 7mm Socket on may work.. Will try getting the tool, just depends when it will get here by. Hopeing im not gonna struggle to find a replacement bolt if i do knacker it.

I had the correct Bosch tool but it still managed to round the head off and I couldn't tighten it down fully

hope this will help if you need to get a replacement bolt

Also - make sure if you do need to fiddle around with where the plate lives because you didn't mark it off before removal. make sure you are running on Dino Diesel and not Veg oil or Bio - I found this out the hard way!!
 
Cheers! Am thinking i'll go on a bolt shopping spree tomorow just incase, really dont wanna be off the road for the sake of a bolt!

And im really not hopeing to go that deep! Kinda relying on it only being the top seal leaking, and not having to touch the next section down.
