Playing with the nanocom:rolleyes:.,.
Not straightforward is it...
103 faults, don't know what they were, just cleared them.
I'm just remotely testing stuff at the moment, watching the mirrors and stuff working is cool:cool:.
Getting lots of 12v in green colour and GRD (or was it GND:rolleyes:) also in green, is that good? Does stuff go red when stuff is, well...stuffed:D.
Also found this screen and the warning scared me:(
Should I/must I unlock to test or check stuff?View attachment 243709

Ok so only 103:).
You need to take it for a little drive then check again and see what current faults you have.

I don't know nanocom speak but I do know you cant do anything with that screen. Its telling you the BECM is locked so you cant add/change details IE if it was new or from peeps who can unlock them it comes unlocked and you input the car details, you need expensive stuff to unlock it and fiddle:eek::D. So don't worry about that 1.

I've been fiddling too long and the battery is flat:rolleyes:.
Put it on charge now.
Interesting developmentso_O!
The sunroof opened AND closed when operated via the nanocom but still won't close off the switch:(. That's a clue, dunno what:p but it's a clue?
Passenger and drivers electric seats worked before I got the nanocom but the passenger one won't operate via the nano (no valid signal or similar) driver's does though, checked passenger seat fuse and that's ok. Don't know if the passenger seat will work as normal off the seat switches as it did, due to the flat battery I can't try. I suppose it's possible the flat battery is stopping the sunroof closing too, fingers crossed.it opened fine though and I tried closing it immediately after opening it. That's when I tried to start it but....deaded.:oops:

The square plastic bit under the LH headrest pin, turn it clockwise a bit and it pulls up easy. This is useful to know if someone fits the headrest in back to front like the PO did with mine.

You have cupholders so it’s likely something spilt on the switch pack and just needs bit of that servicol. You have to take the inner kick panels off to slide it forward to remove - check rave

Seat can be awkward especially when jammed in wrong way, it’s exactly as Alan said but with a bit of vigour. Try putting seat back and sit in the rear then give it a good tug

I fink:oops: the nano will send command to BECM so bypass all the switches. So yes a possible clue;).
Also as I & ^^ said cupholders = possible spilt fluids on the switch pack.

@Flossie sez-
Think there might be wires crossed here? My post earlier was the rear split seat headrest jammed(because it had been removed and refitted back to front) twisting the plastic 'square' released it easy. That's all good now.
Should I have run the engine when fiddling with the nano? I fiddled with everything, seats, windows, lights, dash warnings, gauges the lot!

And the headrest.:eek::D:D

I took my switchpack apart to repair it
It was such a footer that I threw it in the bin and bought a new one

I believe they can be opened and the switches fixed sounded a bit fiddly but doable, I just remember a fred were the late Wammers and Data were discussing it. but cant remember if it was inside another fred or a standalone 1.

Martyuk did a detailed description of how to fix one somewhere.

If Nanocom operates it but switch doesn't then the problem is somewhere between switch and BECM.
