Method for checking fuel pump for flow is outlined in RAVE. With ignition OFF. Remove pipe from filter and place in a measuring container. Remove relay 12 and feed a live from battery to terminal 5 on relay socket. Terminal 5 is the one contrary in orientation to the other three. Do this for exactly 10 seconds. Pump should deliver a minimum of 180ml of fuel in that time span.

Still don't think that you have a problem.

To clarify (or confuse) my earlier reply. The mpg shown is not at that moment, which I believe would be a ?differentiation? calculation. It is a simple (miles since last reset / gallons used since last reset) calc.

The 'at that moment' may be something to add to the wish list when I can convince Datatek to design an open source replacement for the electronics. At the moment he says that he has a water mill and hamlet to finish off first.

There is good new blood coming through though. Your Faraday cage was masterful and Grrrrr looks like he's off to buy some Vero-board.

We're not there yet but when these developments reach fruition, the knockers will envy the reliability of the scorned P38.
