OK, I ask because converting a truckcab body can be good because you can make a demountable camper body. The Dormobiles were usually on Safari bodies as there is no bulkhead so you can get out the drivers seat and step into the back. The Safari floor is very different to the truck floor. I'm in the group that say if you want a special truck best to start with a truck not a 4 door wagon, I think there are just too many differnces and while you should be able to avoid a Q plate you will always have a vehicle that is not what it was registered as. If you look at the number of S2As that come up with S3 bulkheads (for example) even when they are legit (ie actually an S2A with an S3 bulkhead) there is always a suspicion that they are ringers and drop in value..
