Does anyone have a diagnostic system to get rid of the srs light on a later p38 Range Rover in the Wiltshire area?
It’s an EDC I don’t really know what the issue is to begin with and my garage that I normally take too doesn’t have the specific diagnostic equipment to read the srs module.Later models tend to put the light out themselves once the issue has been sorted. Is it EDC gems or Thor?
Langley as in slough, and most of the button work on the steering wheelAny Nanocom for P38 should read the SRS system. Only the engine ECU's require unlock codes. If you want to pop up to Langley I could take a quick look. No promises on fixes though.
Most likely it's a bad connection on one of the seat airbags, steering wheel clock spring. Do all the buttons on the wheel work ?
2000 EDCWhat year is the car? As said, likely to be a bad connection, the connector under the drivers seat if it has side airbags being the common cause. Fix the fault and it will clear automatically.
So it has side airbags, check the under seat connector. If you have buttons that do not work on the steering wheel, then it may also be that the rotary coupler has failed.2000 EDC
