Hi, i have just had to replace the whole clutch assembley, master, slave,clutch,fly wheel etc. Wasnt cheap! However i have a further problem. When the engine has warmed up and whilst driving i get sort of a high pitched whistle at anything over 2500rpm, im guessing it may be related to the turbo kicking in? Any help appreciated.

Don't know. Did you already open the hood and listen from where the whistleing sound might come ?? Maybe that can give you an idea where to look or to feel whether no hose in the area where the noise comes from is split ??

Hi the turbo vent filter is only a couple of quid so worth a try i would also try new intercooler hoses again not a fortune and they are prone to chaffing through on the front of the engine where you cant see them good luck let us know how you get on

To avoid these big hoses get split (or chaffing through) I cut a piece of a flat rubber plate and put it between the screw (holding the inletmanifold) and the hose, this to avoid the hose rubs on the metal top of the screw. If one buys a new one it's, as suggested by several others already, to cut the old hose in length and put it around the new one to protect it against the rubbings which take place at the underside of it.

Good info will get mine sort out this sunday.But need to send my hippo to SC to get the CV replace as going uneven roads now giving me the kluk kluk sound.
Is your car member of the kluk-klukx-klan en wants to sing their song all the time ???

Yes, but the middle one is not correct anymore. I replaced that piece of plastic tube on the pic with the piece of flat rubber plate as I explained before. The construction as seen on the picture did not keep in place and looked like sh.. with that metal wire around the hose etc... now it's almost invisible. In that flat plate I have now I made a hole and with a cablety (cablestrap) through that hole I fixed it around the inletmanifold, this way it's well secured and as said almost invisible. Much better now. But sdince a pic says more than a thousand words just took some and added now.
