I have a 51 plate TD4 and suffers from very similar symptoms as the other members. I took the Td4 to a local LR engineer who has been brilliant and very patient.
The intercooler hose has been changed, a new MAF fitted, and the problem still persisted. The engineer discovered that the main fuel pump had died....this has now been replaced.
Diagnostic software has been run and it gave an error of "Variable nozzle turbo (intemittant )" fault. from what i have read the probable cause of the problem is verly likely be the Valve Acuator and that it can be replaced. Can anyone confirm this if not any advice would be welcome
