Kingy is comin down from oop norf fer a few days, so we're gonna show him the best of the local lanes on Sunday (just for half a day). If anyone else wants to tag along, lerrus know.

Excellent, cheers Trewey, see you there - is Stumpy coming? Mate of mine lives just down the road from you, might see if i can get him along as well. I'm guessing it's the Seaton beach cafe where we met before.

Well, we've fixed Kingy's front prop so we're still on fer tomorra.

I've never seen a UJ so knackered, without it falling apart completely! Another 50 miles and I reckon he'd have had a flailing prop and a hole in his gearbox sump.

2 of the bolts at the T/F box end had been damaged by the U/J, so we had to take the drive flange out and replace the bolts. Took us 2 hours in the end.

Looks like it.
Have you heard from CC? I thought he was threatening to come and ride shotgun?

I think he was gonna do that if we went Baldhu, i'll get in touch with him this eve but i suspect it'll be too far to come for a morning's laning. Planning on bringing JR with me to man the camera!

i would love too but im moving home all w/end.
got to be out by monday next time if that ok,
did you now about the buried stuff.

aye - used to know the peeps that ran the B&B in Hessenford. They'd lived there since the 1940's. They told us bout it - was sposed to be hush-hush parently.

Apparently there's a few merlins buried round Castle Bromwich anorl, it's another myth peeps have been searching for for years! I think the gov bods let out little rumours like this from time to time to see how long it takes to get back to them from a completely unassociated source, to keep their mindnumbingly dull jobs a bit interesting!
