I am in the process of gathering the bits to fit 2 Rangy axles under my Lada Niva TD project.
I have 2 changes that need to be done for them to be an acceptable change.
Firstly I need to add a handbrake to the rear axle. Was thinking of an extra caliper on the original disc.
Secondly I need the diff housing to be moved to the other side (Left Bias), am I right in thinking the diffs will fit upside down so all I need to do cut and turn the housing thne swap the half shafts over, left to right etc.
Or can I just cut and swap the housing front to rear?? Are the tube diameters the same???
Has anyone done this before??? are there any top tips to keep alignment etc.
I know its an odd request but the car already has a Perkins Prima TD engine, LDV Lt77 gearbox and Lada T-Box. Its going to be different and as I already have the axles, why not...
Cheers
