Deffo do the nano thing. You may find a reluctant hot start and a lumpy idle if modulation is out, and idle is returned to c750 rpm.

For later vehicles like yours it is one shot grease. Do not mix anything.

My book symbol has gone again:confused:. Question- would I be right in thinking that, for example, a sticky flap would bring up the book and ,without touching anything on the hvac , the next start will clear the book until I adjust something...

I remember now when putting back my rotor + assembly for the rear I forgot this ring. Instantly triggered abs after just creeping. Was so confused until I realized the mistake. I thought this happened to my front. Thanks for clarifying. Well...

If someone said compression is not right, what PSI is it getting, and what are they basing that statement on ? Not sure on Thor, but on GEMS crank sensor will prevent starting, but nothing gets logged on diagnostics. Are all the basics ok ...

Starts and then stops unless I give a fair amount of wellie, it then runs rough as rats, plugged in it runs fine and smooth apart from the random engine dying bit.

On the muddy mods site, the grey FL2 on the KO2 tyres on the lift page looks to have 245/70R17's on. I'd suspect this is likely as big as you can go, but may still rub. I think there is a chap on YouTube with slightly bigger, but he did have to...

Do you have any proof of this?

No this is wrong. That is the ABS sensor that senses the wheel movement. In the rear this would sit horizontal to the hub itself not vertically as shown in my photo. For the Front from my memory when doing my brakes it was the same as the back...

Stock tyres; Kind of answered that in post #2 on your thread here; https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/freelander-2-max-height.399716/#post-5868366 If you look on YouTube at Powerful UK, they fit a lift kit to an F2 and show you the...

SDD is the Land Rover system. It stands for Symptom Driven Diagnostics, and it requires a laptop plus a lead. I think it covers vehicles from 2006 onwards, and will do everything you want it to, if it can be done. That said, it’s not the easiest...

The only issue is getting the old bearing out as they take a bit of force if old and original. I'd bought some blueprint units and found one had failed after two years😵 I then bought an SKF bearing and used the blueprint outer casing and an...

It sounds like it's not getting fuel. Is the in tank pump working? Have you checked for spark? I'd go back over the work to see if anything has been overlooked 🤔 Did it run OK before the repair (apart from the original issue)?

Sounds normal to me if it does not drop overnight. I can certainly hear my compressor running but I am sitting on the left side of the vehicle (NA).

I am in New Zealand, so this is of limited help, but will give you an idea. I bought a FL2 that failed WOF (MOT) on steering. Price reflected fail. I took it to a power steering specialist. That is all he does. He told me FL2 racks are perhaps...
