    Alternator and water pump has been changed a while a go along with the thermostat and radiator Are the body and engine ECUs plug and play or do you have to program them to chassis?

    Yes, changing both front and rear diffs, as I explained in my initial question that created this monstrosity of a thread. I also looked at changing the secondary gears inside the transfer case, but there is nothing available for my rare NV225...

    The TD5 engine should be fine, you might take ancillary items such as an alternator and water pump. Oh and a spare ECU as they are now starting to fail without warning and you won't repair that at the side of the road.

    I did say "usually" the universal get out!! As you know from anuvva fred I'll be getting more fancier soldering gear soon to mend 8 thermostats, so I'll have no excuse then.
