Never tried it, but in theory you could do it with a Nanocom (although Nanocom might not allow FFFF).
1. In BECM menus write FFFF into the Immobilisation code.
2. In GEMS Utility menu put GEMS into Learn Mode.
3. Turn ignition off-on to trigger...
Oh wow thanks so much for your reply it’s so helpful, new to it all and just want a basic as possible run around for my garden maintenance business, room to put tools and plants in, and be able to drive in winter weather too. I thought 90 because...
I have an old (6-7 years) battery 110AH, 750 EN in my garage I use as a temporary 12V supply for testing EAS Valve Bocks, Stereos, etc. It gets charged about once per month usually the day before I need it.
Right now it's measuring 12.2V or...
Hi everyone. I bought an MOT failed Defender 90 a year or so back (H reg - 1991 - 200TDI) that my 17 yr old son and I have just "re-chassied" (new brakes, suspension, chassis etc) and it should be on the road by the end of the month. I've rung up...

Do the pressure check with the engine up to normal temp & switched off. Make sure you check all the hose joints & around any gasket that hold coolant. Also get underneath & shine a torch up at the core plugs (they rust & leak eventually).
I pressurised it using a tester up to ~15 psi, and didn't see any coolant coming from the top of the expansion tank, so I don't think it's leaking from the overflow
I was going to have another look this morning, but the weather has decided that...

Age and engine type?
I would recomend a mid-80’s, model with series doors fitted and a tdi engine conversion. That will get you the closest experience to what @saxavordian is describing and the true Land Rover driving expiriance.
Don’t listen...
Sorry I ment when it finally unlocks and is put the key in the ignition the system comes up on the dashboard and it wont let me turn it on. Also what's the best car diagnostics tool to use on the car,
Just try using the fob to lock and unlock, there shouldn’t be any need to also use the key. The fob also remobilise the engine therefore no LED, the the system is Passive so the immobilisation is automatic indicated by the LED flashing

So didn't get a chance to look at the water pump, however, Managed to plug in my Pscan to log the current O2 sensor.
