The classic mistake there Mr @Anaconda :vb-vinnie:
It's 'Hylomar Blue' or to be precise, Hylomar Universal Blue ....

So, new update on this for anyone else having the same issues and trying to diagnose it. We’ve just got back from a weekend away to notice the front has now dropped. I can only assume from this that the front valve block has given up the ghost...
Carefully inspect the rear chassis legs all the way up to where the trailing arms attach to the chassis before making a decision. Use a pointy thing as part of your decision making.
I repaired the same area on my son's Ninety a couple of years...
I have a 2014 Freelander 2 Metropolis SD4 and my supply diesel line from the mid coupling (under drivers seat) to the fuel filter (in engine compartment) has worn through by touching the engine pulley.
I’m struggling to find the correct part...
Original props are out of phase. Britpart in phase.
Are yokes free to move? Vibration from props usually felt through the seat rather than the steering wheel.

Sorry thought both parts had been used and working, this link should help
This seems to be a common thread, but so far I haven’t spotted anyone with the exact same symptoms. It all started after a genuine starter failure. Factory original as far as I can tell, so almost 20 year’s service – can’t complain!
Before I go...
If your car is a manual, I'd say juddering when taking off is the clutch.
My L Series has been doing it violently for a few years on and off (mainly on). I'm surprised my engine mounts haven't gone. Clutch still works, no slipping and will...
The garage did bleed the brakes and get some air out, annoyingly managed to do it the old fashioned way so don't know why I couldn't do it. Never seem to have much luck with brakes, it was the same on my classic mini

Thanks, do you think I should use one of these ? God knows how that other one worked, but I suspect it was fitted then sat in the rolling chassis and probably never tried...
Good. Not be selling now 😀, At least you’re on the road again, but I bet the garage did not do anything you could not have done yourself! getting brakes working properly is a very common problem on here , lots have issues, but patience needed to...
A few mm ? You should take firmly the propshaft before the uv joint and try to move it on the uv joint axis, it should not have any play, a small play can cause noise or rumble at low speed.
For the VCU support you should move it up and down...
Owned rather a lot of Land Rovers over the years. My first was an early Range Rover Lomas Ambulance which I took everywhere.
Then I ended up with "Lilly" a 1960 ser II 88 FFW, well thats what it started as... . It had a certain notoriety and...
So update, took landrover into garage today who bled brakes and tested them. Reasonable braking force but long pedal travel. He said adjuster on rear not working and needed adjusting on front as well. Discovered rear did not have pin in shoe for...
Think you will have to stay with the 9.5 due to flywheel location pins.
With old landy's one often just does not know what others have done in the past.
2a diesel models do have 9.5 unit.
didn’t know if it could be a failing drive shaft or something like that! And yeah I took a look at the prop, I could wiggle it from off to near side a few mm. Which I thought is just the rubber bits squishing a bit but nothing looked inherently...
Hi all,
I had to change one of the UJ's on the front prop of a 2.5DSE auto P38 (the one closer to the TC). After replacement, on test drive i noticed a vibration, mostly in the steering wheel, very fast but not violent at all. After this i...
Hi,
Diff will make even more noise at speed if was in cause. Since it happens at low speed … and you have only a small leak, if the leak was important your diff will make a lot of noise.
Did you look at the propshaft ... I think in my previous...
If the switchpack has a short, or the 12V feed has high resistance, then you will see 12V with it unplugged, but it could drop when plugged in. A 5W bulb is a good test if you cannot access the rear of the plug.
Remember it could also be a...
