Land Rovers are in a league of their own for breaking down without even moving. Son's 200tdi has decided it wants a fuel pipe leak now for no reason whatsoever.

Can you cut the nut off and replace with a lock nut? You need proper rated bolts not Chinese rubbish made from margarine, 10.9 or whatever they are.

I watched a video on that not so long ago. There is some sort of mod you can do also if you feel inclined to do so. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183965760614 Think that is the kit, what it does I can't remember but apart from that it looks like...

Anyone done this! Any ideas for a fix? Changing rear shocks followed the dreaded Haynes for Torque settings (125NM) and stripped the lower rear shock captive nut! As temporary fix am going to put in stock M12 bolt with lock nut from hardware...

Remove the 2 screws & replace the O ring… Yep I know how much diesel they loose as it’s happened to me. (Think I turned the o ring over to get me home) Nothing will fall out

Have a look at dieselinjectionpumps.co.uk Parts and information/diagrams available. I think that cover is for the pump advance mechanism, a spring/plunger is in there. Cover has a gasket or O ring to seal. I am no expert on diesel pumps but...

Welding has gone crap with most of the suppliers. Thickness of metal has gone thinner. Most plastics are the same. Nothing built to cope with a few years of abuse

Morning all, This place has been an amazing source of help and info for years for me but I’ve never got round to signing up. I live in Oxfordshire and have had a few defenders of various shapes and sizes. Now I’m taking on a ground up build of...

Still no further on. Thinking of running a decent earth and live feed from the fuse to a test bulb holder and working my way through each junction until I find the problem. It has been suggested that a dodgy junction may allow enough live feed to...

Huh? Guessing you haven't owned one then, or maybe didn't know where to look? There is a MASSIVE range of "aftermarket" parts for BMW, even from the manufacturers who made the originals: Lemforder, Valeo, Bosch, Bremi, Beru, etc, etc, etc. They...

I was going to rant and be very unhappy that it is still leaking. But I now have an injector pump pouring fuel (LINK) so am unsure if the fuel on the filler begins from the filler neck or from the pump that has covered everything underneath and...

My fuel pump has decided it does want to have fuel on the inside any more. I appear to be pumping fuel out of the cover circled below. Is this something that I can repair myself or is this a terminal failure and I need to send it off for rebuild.

Manifold bolts are bottom four 11mm nuts and one 11mm bolt. Top row are all 10mm captive bolts and are not that tight so undoing them should be easy, i will try and add a few photos over the weekend.

No spider on an Auto, immobiliser seems to be inside the injector pump. I'm not too sure, but if you've changed the injection pump, you also need to use the same green ecu to match the donor pump. Someone may correct me on this. Unfortunately...
