Right then, after seeing our mate @Datatek last Sunday I am now the owner of a zfhp24 box.
After comparing a couple of things the input shaft and oil pump drive are different lengths.
Now the question...
Can both the input shaft and oil pump shaft be taken from zfhp22 and transplanted into the hp24 box.
Another option is to bolt my oil pump and input shaft assemblies onto the hp24 and check the dimensions against the HP22 for the torque converter 🤔
Anyone got any info? 😊

Interesting, my info is that the input shaft is the same, only the oil pump might be different, so live and learn. My info was from someone who claimed to have made the swap. Stuff has been posted on LZ about the swap but it was some time ago. Contact Bemble.
 
We are well out of my pay grade here... but RAVE does mention that the 24 is longer than the 22... but I have no idea where this extra length comes from. Pictures though....obvs.

I think @ovalandrover did this swap to one of his.

Some of the HP24 boxes are supposed to be a straight swap but I think the general opnion on here is that some need the input and oil pump assembly swapped over. Never tried it though.

I was think the pump and input shaft as well. The shafts are different lengths. I did consider swapping the internals instead and keeping everything the same length but I'm not sure if the first clutch pack is tailored to the longer input shaft. Once I've removed the box from my scrapper I'll know better 🤔
 
I thought the 24 needed the bigger pump to run the higher pressure needed in the clutches.
Not sure if it can be run with the 22 TC or you need the bigger 1. Which doesnt fit in the diesel bellhousing but the intermidate size TC does, not sure which 1 yours runs.
Also I believe that the internals can be swapped but only after a certain serial number, which again I belive its the internals from the shorter box not the long 1.
This is all dragged from my foggy recollection when I was reserching the subject so may not be 100%

But a quick mail to Ashcroft would give you all the info you need.

My recollection is also less than perfect these days but I had it confirmed that the HP22 pump is OK for the HP24 box as is the standard torque convertor.
