Hi all,
Considering both for future purchase right now. Used, anything after
2000. 4 X 4. 3/4 ton, and heavy duty towing a must.
If you own a Suburban/Yukon XL, why didn't you buy an Excursion?
If you own an Excursion, why didn't you buy the Suburban/Yukon XL?
Besides the never ending Ford vs. Chevy debate, what were your
reasons? I've googled extensively, and I know the Ford is more truck
like with slightly less creature comforts, and the GM's are more car
like. I know the Powerstroke is better for a lot of towing as well.
If you had to moderately lift either for taller tire clearance, (4" -
6"), which would be cheaper/easier to lift, provided they both had
final gear ratios to support such tire size, (probably in the 31
range)?
(I'm well aware of the inherent changes to center of gravity and
driving style needed to operate a lifted vehicle, thanks. Cut my teeth
on a CJ-7 with 33's!)
Thanks all.
