Does this look worn compared to anyone elses, if so is there any adjustment ? The u/j's in the shaft seem fine as there's no movement in them

The tratter seems to 'wonder' all over the place and bizarrely it feels harder to turn right than left???

just changed my box--last week, mine was leaking so had to be done, instant carma-turns with fingertip--i never noticed how stiff it had got--now even jean (my wife) says its like driveing a car instead of a bus--part of the procedure is bleeding air out of the system try that first , but you carnt beat a fresh box--allen

Yes - thats too much movement. Check the splines on the bottom on both the shaft and box and the that the system is bled prop. After that you can try tightening the box using the allen key screw on top of the box - IIRC clockwise turn, try a 1/4 turn at a time - dont over tighten.

All else fails - new box time. Ive just put a recon on - not too bad a job, buster has a guide.

Thanks for replies, just disconnected the ball joint to move it by hand and it feels really knotchy and worn, also much harder to pull one way compared to the other. Off to Craddocks me thinks....
