I may just be hearing things but can anyone tell me if this sounds like a worn propshaft.
When i release the accelerator quickly there is a scraping noise, 2 or 3 quick times as the landy decelerates. It may just be normal engine braking but i as there is always something failing/breaking/not working on my landy i fear the worst...

propshaft wouldnt be the worst.

get under it and holding the yoke of the prop and the shaft (with handbrake off) give it a wiggle... both ends... both props. shouldnt be any play in the uj's. if there is, replace them with hardy spicer units. some tools and a vice is all you needs. UJ's about £5-10/ea. prop bolts are 9/16" so dont screw em up.

If their ok, get a grease gun on the nipples and fill em. you may find the noise disappears.
