I have a 94 M reg Disco and the throttle pedal seems heavy and hard to push and the engine has a reluctance to spin up and reach power fast. If towing 2.5 tons it is hard to pull away on the flat in 1st h/r. Any ideas?
Also there is a slight whine from the boxes, it is there in most gears but more noticable cruising on the m/way at 60/80MPH. Sometimes it doesnt go for second unless you are concentrating and ther can be a slight notchiness between changes. Does this sound like oil change time or will it be like a ninjas throwing star party on the M4 soon?
It has done 150000 miles and is all standard. I think.
