wobbly passenger side mirror

ANOTHER lil query here,
me left hand side door mirror is one that can rotate on wat looks like a ball and socket kinda set up, so that adjustments can be made much more than my drivers side which can not be tilted skyward to the groud. any ideas how to remedy it so it doesnt get knocked out of place so easily or gets blown wayward wen goin faster than 35mph?
how easy is it to replace the mirrors anyway?I fancy gettin the bigger size ones on to make life easier.

Sounds odd that your driver door mirror is different to the nearside door.

I had to replace one of my mirrors recently and it is a straightforward allen key job, took 5 mins.

cheers man!the only difference is that the left side can be adjusted up and down instead of just left and rite. i'l break out th allen key.
