does anyone know what this rubber/plasticky bits are call and what do they do ?

So it holds all the sh1te and damp next to the wheel archI've a client with a freelander 2 all the wheel arches have done that. It's a flimsy rubber skirt. Stupid idea...

A good sharp Stanley knife would put an end to that!!
you could trim it and tuck it into the arch lip maybe??

A bit like thousands of other cars then? Being open allows the sh1te right up inside the wing/arch!..So it holds all the sh1te and damp next to the wheel arch
How did you get it to stick to the wall?
