Probably a silly question but why does this not fit a TD4 Freelander?

wont fit the v6 because bumper is a different shape,

not sure why it wont fit td4 (same bumper as 1.8)

Thats what I thought, same bumper configuration so why not

What does it fit to? Is there stuff in the way?

I have no idea, I am thinking of buying one and am wondering why it wont fit the TD4 model, yet it will fit a 1.8, both of which seem to have the same bumper, the only thing I can think of is the engine bay configuration
