Windscreen wipers

Next problem,

The fuse for my windscreen wipers keeps blowing, any ideas? Kinda need them every day, I live in Scotland

Move to Death Valley.

I'd say you'd got a short to earth, but without my magic wand i'd be stuck to find it for you.

Theres one motor on the front wipers. If you disconnect the lectrical wire to it and the fuse don't blow when you poperate the wiper lever, then this will tell you if you have a wire problem (like cut wire shorting to earth) or if the motor is a problem (like it's shorted inside). Well that would be my first check. Then measure resistance on suspect device to get an idea of whats going on.

wouldn't know where to start! I'm not so much with the hands...took me long enough just to change the fuse!!! :doh:

You need to get a copy of the rave disk then. It will give you a full manwell for yer Freelander 1.
